Radiology Services Manager Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage and supervise the daily operations of the radiology department, including scheduling, staffing, and workflow coordination.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulatory standards, radiation safety protocols.
- Develop and implement departmental policies and procedures to optimize efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the timely and accurate interpretation of imaging studies.
- Oversee the maintenance and calibration of radiology equipment, ensuring its proper functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Monitor and assess the performance of radiology staff, providing regular feedback, coaching, and training opportunities to enhance their skills.
- Manage the department's budget, ensuring proper allocation of resources and cost-effective utilization of equipment and supplies.
- Stay abreast of advancements in radiology technology, best practices, and industry trends, and make recommendations for equipment upgrades or procedural changes to enhance patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and performance improvement programs to optimize departmental operations and outcomes.
- Serve as a liaison between the radiology department and other healthcare departments, promoting effective communication and collaboration.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
