Key Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during patient consultations, examinations, and medical procedures.
- Record patient medical history, vital signs, and clinical findings accurately.
- Perform initial patient assessments and communicate observations to the treating physician.
- Coordinate diagnostic tests, investigations, and follow-up appointments.
- Prepare patients for examinations and minor procedures.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR).
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
- Coordinate with nursing, physiotherapy, pharmacy, and other multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Monitor patient progress and report any changes in condition to the physician.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, infection control protocols, and NABH quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physician Assistant (B.Sc. Physician Assistant) or equivalent qualification.
- Valid registration/certification as applicable.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS is an added advantage.
Required Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of EMR/Hospital Information Systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
- Good documentation and reporting skills.
- Compassionate approach with strong patient-care ethics.
Preferred Experience
- Experience in ICU, Emergency, Rehabilitation, Internal Medicine, Orthopedics, Neurology, or General Medicine is preferred.
- Exposure to NABH-accredited hospitals will be an added advantage.
Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
