Job Description – Medical Officer
Job Summary
The Medical Officer is responsible for providing timely and quality medical care to patients in the Emergency Department, wards, and critical care areas. The role involves patient assessment, emergency management, clinical documentation, and coordination with consultants and nursing teams to ensure effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and manage patients in Emergency, IP wards, and critical care areas.
- Provide immediate treatment and stabilize emergency cases.
- Coordinate with consultants and healthcare teams for patient management.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
- Participate in ward rounds and ensure continuity of care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, NABH standards, and infection control practices.
- Attend Code Blue and other medical emergencies promptly.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS from a recognized institution.
- Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
- 1–3 years of experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred.
Skills Required
- Strong clinical and emergency management skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and handle critical situations.
- Team-oriented and patient-focused approach.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month
