The Accountant is responsible for managing the organization's financial records, ensuring accurate bookkeeping, preparing financial reports, maintaining compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations, and supporting the organization's financial planning and decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts.
- Prepare and file tax returns, GST/VAT, and other statutory filings as required.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Monitor cash flow and prepare cash flow reports.
- Ensure compliance with accounting principles, company policies, and legal regulations.
- Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits.
- Prepare payroll and ensure timely salary processing (if applicable).
- Verify invoices, expense claims, and payment requests.
- Maintain fixed asset registers and depreciation schedules.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements.
- Generate financial reports and provide insights to management.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as assigned.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
