Job Summary:
The Planning Engineer is responsible for project planning, scheduling, monitoring progress, and ensuring timely completion of construction activities. The role involves coordination with site teams, procurement, and management to track timelines, resources, and project performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare project schedules using Primavera / MS Project
- Develop baseline program and track progress against it
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports
- Monitor delays and suggest recovery plans
- Coordinate with site engineers, procurement, and management
- Track manpower, materials, and equipment requirements
- Assist in cost control and resource planning
- Prepare look-ahead schedules and work forecasts
- Support project team in meeting deadlines and milestones
- Maintain planning documentation and reports
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing
- Experience in Primavera P6 / MS Project
- Good understanding of project execution and site coordination
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong reporting and documentation ability
- Communication and coordination skills
Qualification & Experience
- B.Tech / Diploma in Civil Engineering or related field
- 3–8 years of experience in construction planning
- Experience in infrastructure / building projects preferred
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹48,000.00 per month
