We are looking for a skilled Fabrication Engineer to join our QC–Fabrication team. The candidate will be responsible for inspection and quality control of fabricated components, ensuring compliance with welding standards, fabrication drawings, and quality requirements in transformer manufacturing.
Requirements:
- Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5–8 years of experience in fabrication quality control within the transformer or heavy engineering industry
- NDT Level 2 Certification is Mandatory
- Strong knowledge of welding inspection, fabrication processes, and quality standards
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and inspection documents
- Experience in handling quality records, audits, and customer inspections
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform fabrication and welding inspections as per approved standards
- Conduct and review NDT activities and reports
- Ensure compliance with quality requirements and fabrication specifications
- Coordinate with production and quality teams to resolve inspection issues
- Maintain inspection records and support customer audits
Preference will be given to candidates from the Transformer Industry.
