1. Specimen Collection & Handling
- Sample Collection: Safely collect blood, urine, tissue, and other bodily fluids.
- Preparation & Labeling: Accurately label, process, and prepare samples for analysis.
- Storage & Transport: Store and transport specimens securely to preserve integrity and avoid cross-contamination.
2. Testing & Analysis
- Diagnostic Testing: Run tests across various disciplines like hematology, microbiology, immunology, and clinical chemistry.
- Microscope Analysis: Prepare and examine samples (slides and smears) to detect abnormalities, bacteria, or parasites.
- Data Analysis: Interpret raw test results and prepare data reports to assist physicians in clinical decisions.
3. Equipment Operation & Maintenance
- Instrument Operation: Use complex lab equipment including automated analyzers, centrifuges, and microscopes.
- Calibration & Troubleshooting: Ensure machines are correctly calibrated, clean, and functioning.
- Quality Control: Execute routine quality control protocols to guarantee the reliability and accuracy of test outcomes.
4. Patient Safety & Data Management
- Record-Keeping: Accurately log test results into patient medical records and the Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS).
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to infection control policies, wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Confidentiality: Maintain patient privacy following medical and hospital confidentiality standards.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
