Job Title: Clinical Associate – Ophthalmology

- MBBS with MS/DNB in Ophthalmology or Diploma in Ophthalmology (DO/DOMS) .
- Valid State Medical Council Registration (Mandatory).
- 0–3 years of experience in Ophthalmology.
- Freshers with MS/DNB/DO/DOMS are welcome to apply.
- Examine, diagnose, and manage patients with ophthalmic conditions.
- Assist consultants in OPD, inpatient care, emergency services, and operation theatre.
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations, including visual acuity assessment, slit-lamp examination, and fundoscopy.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative ophthalmology patients.
- Assist in ophthalmic surgeries such as cataract, glaucoma, retina, cornea, and oculoplasty procedures.
- Attend ophthalmic emergencies and provide timely medical management.
- Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
- Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care.
- Coordinate with nursing and allied healthcare teams to ensure quality patient care.
- Participate in departmental academic activities, CMEs, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Strong clinical knowledge of ophthalmic disorders and treatment protocols.
- Ability to interpret ophthalmic investigations and diagnostic findings.
- Good communication and patient counselling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
