Develop a thorough understanding of Room to Read India Trust's FLN program design, implementation approach, and Mission NIPUN Bihar.
Support implementation of FLN PMU activities across assigned thematic areas in consultation with the Technical Specialist and in alignment with agreed work plans.
Facilitate coordination and engagement with the Directorate of Primary Education, SCERT, BEPC, DIETs, district education functionaries, and other stakeholders to support implementation of programme activities.
Support organization and implementation of teacher professional development programmes, workshops, review meetings, and other capacity-building initiatives under Mission NIPUN Bihar.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with government counterparts and provide timely technical and coordination support for programme implementation.
Support preparation of annual work plans, implementation schedules, and programme tracking mechanisms, and monitor progress against agreed milestones.
Compile, validate, analyse, and maintain programme data and support preparation of periodic technical reports, dashboards, review notes, and documentation while ensuring high standards of data quality.
Track implementation progress through review meetings, field visits, and follow-up on agreed action points, and promptly flag implementation gaps and delays.
Support liaison with government institutions and academic bodies to facilitate technical assistance and strengthen institutional collaboration.
Stay updated on national education policies, research, and emerging practices related to foundational literacy and numeracy, and support integration of relevant evidence into programme implementation.
Provide technical support to SCERT, DIETs, and district education functionaries on teacher professional development, classroom practices, monitoring, assessments, and reading promotion.
Participate in state, district, and field review meetings, technical consultations, workshops, and joint field visits with government officials to support implementation and quality assurance.
Support documentation of implementation learnings, case studies, best practices, and technical reports to strengthen knowledge management and programme improvement.
Assist in planning, coordination, and facilitation of Training of Trainers (ToTs), capacity-building programmes, and technical workshops under the FLN PMU.
Support community and stakeholder engagement initiatives that strengthen reading culture and contribute to improved foundational literacy outcomes.
Undertake any other responsibilities assigned by the Technical Specialist, Directorate of Primary Education, or Room to Read India Trust in furtherance of the objectives of the FLN PMU.
