About the Role
We are hiring confident and energetic Field Sales Executives to help us grow Aroma, a decision-driving digital menu solution built for restaurants.
Your job is not just to distribute brochures or collect numbers. You will visit restaurants, speak with managers and decision-makers, understand their current menu and customer-ordering problems, present our solution clearly, and schedule meetings with restaurant owners for closure.
This is a field-sales role for someone who is comfortable entering restaurants, starting conversations, handling objections, and following up until a meeting is fixed.
Key Responsibilities
- Visit assigned restaurants, cafés, lounges, and premium dining outlets daily.
- Identify the right point of contact, including restaurant managers, floor managers, operations heads, or owners.
- Introduce Aroma in a simple and convincing way.
- Explain how Aroma helps restaurants improve customer ordering confidence, promote premium dishes, increase add-ons, and improve average order value.
- Understand the restaurant’s current menu system, customer behaviour, and pain points.
- Qualify restaurants based on their type, pricing, customer base, and interest level.
- Convince managers to arrange a meeting with the owner or final decision-maker.
- Schedule and confirm owner meetings for the senior sales/closing team.
- Attend owner meetings when required and support the presentation and follow-up process.
- Maintain daily reporting of restaurant visits, manager responses, owner meeting status, and follow-up dates.
- Handle basic objections professionally and keep following up with interested prospects.
- Build strong relationships with restaurant managers and ensure they remain responsive during the sales process.
- Meet weekly targets for restaurant visits, qualified leads, and owner meetings booked.
Daily Expectations
- Visit multiple restaurants every day in assigned areas.
- Speak directly with managers instead of only leaving contact details.
- Collect accurate decision-maker details wherever possible.
- Submit a daily report with:
- Restaurant name
- Contact person name and designation
- Contact number
- Restaurant category
- Interest level
- Main objection or requirement
- Next follow-up date
- Owner meeting status
Required Skills
- Strong communication and convincing ability.
- Comfortable speaking with restaurant managers and owners.
- Confident personality with good presentation skills.
- Ability to handle rejection without losing consistency.
- Basic understanding of sales, lead generation, and follow-ups.
- Able to use WhatsApp, Google Sheets, CRM tools, or simple reporting formats.
- Comfortable with field work and travelling within Kolkata.
- Hindi, English, and Bengali speaking ability will be preferred.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- 0–2 years of experience in field sales, business development, hospitality sales, restaurant sales, digital marketing sales, or B2B sales.
- Freshers with strong confidence and communication skills may also apply.
- Candidates who have worked with restaurants, cafés, hotels, POS systems, food delivery platforms, or digital products will be preferred.
- Must be target-oriented and disciplined with reporting.
Performance Metrics
Your performance will be measured on:
- Number of restaurants visited
- Number of meaningful manager conversations
- Number of qualified leads generated
- Number of owner meetings scheduled
- Meeting show-up rate
- Follow-up consistency
- Conversion support toward paid pilots and full restaurant onboarding
