AGM – Projects (Solar EPC)

Reporting To: Directors
Location: Project Sites / Mumbai HO
Role Purpose
Responsible for end-to-end execution and management of multiple solar EPC ground-mounted projects (MW scale), ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Execution & Management
- Lead and manage multiple solar EPC project sites
- Ensure projects are delivered within defined timelines and milestones
- Monitor site activities and resolve execution challenges
Planning & Coordination
- Coordinate with DGM, Project Managers, Engineers & Procurement teams
- Ensure availability of materials, manpower, and resources
- Liaise with clients, consultants, vendors, and contractors
Cost & Budget Control
- Monitor project cost vs. budget and ensure cost optimization
- Track expenditures and prevent cost overruns
- Support budgeting and financial forecasting
Quality & Safety Compliance
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and technical specifications
- Enforce safety policies and promote zero-incident culture
- Conduct regular site audits and inspections
Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare and present project progress reports
- Maintain project documentation and MIS
- Support DGM in planning and reporting
Risk Management
- Identify project risks and delays
- Implement mitigation and corrective actions
Qualification & Experience
- B.E./B.Tech in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering
- MBA in Project Management (Preferred) and/or PMP Certification
- 10–15 years in Solar EPC / Infrastructure / Power Projects
- Experience in utility-scale solar projects is mandatory
Core Skills
- Strong project management and leadership abilities
- Excellent stakeholder and team coordination skills
- Knowledge of solar EPC processes and regulations
- Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
Technical Skills
- End-to-end Solar EPC project execution (10–50 MW, ground-mounted)
- Knowledge of PV systems: modules, inverters, SCADA, transformers, switchgear
- Project planning tools: MS Project / Primavera
- BOQ preparation, cost estimation & budget control
- Vendor/contractor management & techno-commercial evaluation
- Site execution: civil, mechanical & electrical works
- Grid connectivity, testing, commissioning & synchronization
- Quality standards (IEC/IS) & inspections
- HSE compliance and site audits
- MIS, DPR & project reporting
