Position Title: Trainee - Designer
Required qualifications, experience and competencies:
Required Education: Degree/Diploma or Graduate in GD art-commercial/painting/ATD or Carpet
design
Required Experience: Fresher or 1 year Note: Drawing & Painting portfolio is mandatory.
Technical/Functional competencies:
- Drawing and painting expertise
- Software Knowledge: Illustrator/PS or similar
- Basic knowledge of designing (colours, patterns, weaves, textures, repeats, colourways)
- Mathematics
Behavioural competencies:

- Creative mindset with willingness to learn
- Attention to detail, quality conscious and Problem-solving attitude,
- Time management and ability to meet deadlines

Roles and responsibilities:
- Learn & assist in developing carpet designs as per briefs, references, and client inputs
- Create design layouts, repeats, and colourways under guidance of senior designers
- Learn and use design software to prepare files for sampling and production
- Modify existing designs based on feedback from internal team or clients
- Support design development for custom and collection-based projects
- Ensure designs meet technical, quality, and production feasibility standards
- Maintain organized design files and documentation
- Coordinate with QC and senior team for design clarification and corrections
- Learn and follow SOPs defined for each client’s carpet design and development
projects.
Pay: ₹9,138.68 - ₹46,292.32 per month
