Key Responsibilities
Daily Operations & Quality Control
- Room Inspections: Review checked-out and stay-over guest rooms to verify spotless cleaning, complete amenities, and correct setups.
- Task Allocation: Assign daily floor sections, deep cleaning projects, and special tasks to room attendants and housemen.
- Maintenance Reporting: Log structural defects, broken fixtures, or plumbing issues immediately with the engineering team. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Staff Management & Training
- Roster Scheduling: Create weekly shift rotations, balance holiday leave, and arrange backup coverage for sickness.
- Daily Briefings: Lead morning line-ups to communicate VIP arrivals, high occupancy targets, and specific guest requests.
- Skills Development: Conduct on-the-job training for new hires on chemical safety, ergonomics, and proper cleaning techniques.
Inventory & Compliance
- Stock Tracking: Audit linens, uniforms, minibar items, guest toiletries, and chemical supplies regularly.
- Purchase Requests: Flag low inventory levels to the Executive Housekeeper to prompt bulk order purchasing.
- Safety Adherence: Enforce strict adherence to safety guidelines, biohazard handling, and usage protocols for commercial chemicals.
- Lost & Found: Process, log, and securely store items left behind by guests according to hotel policy.
Job Requirements & QualificationsExperience & Education
- Background: Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Room Attendant or Housekeeping Lead.
Work Environment
- Shift Flexibility: Requires working early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Physical Demand: Involves constant bending, lifting linen bundles, pushing heavy supply carts, and walking.
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
