The HR Manager will be responsible for end-to-end HR management for the Bangalore factory, ensuring smooth people operations, statutory compliance, effective manpower planning, and employee engagement. This role will closely partner with factory leadership to support productivity, discipline, and workforce stability.
Key Responsibilities1. Recruitment & Manpower Planning
- Plan and execute end-to-end recruitment for factory roles (operators, supervisors, engineers, staff).
- Coordinate with department heads on manpower requirements and timelines.
- Manage sourcing, interviews, offers, onboarding, and induction.
- Maintain recruitment trackers and MIS reports.
2. HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
- Handle joining formalities, documentation, confirmations, transfers, and exits.
- Maintain accurate employee records, files, and HR data.
- Draft and implement HR policies, SOPs, and factory rules as per law.
- Address employee grievances and disciplinary matters.
3. Payroll & Compensation
- Manage monthly payroll processing in coordination with Accounts.
- Ensure accurate attendance, leave, deductions, and statutory components.
- Handle full & final settlements, bonus, incentives, and wage revisions.
4. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
- Ensure compliance with Factories Act, Shops & Establishments Act, EPF, ESI, PT, Gratuity, Bonus, CLRA, etc.
- Coordinate inspections, audits, and statutory filings.
- Liaise with government authorities, consultants, and labor officials.
- Maintain statutory registers and records.
5. Attendance, Leave & Discipline
- Implement and monitor attendance systems, shifts, and leave management.
- Enforce factory discipline, code of conduct, and standing orders.
- Handle absenteeism, misconduct cases, and warnings/show-cause notices.
6. Employee Engagement & Welfare
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, welfare schemes, and communication.
- Manage canteen, transport, safety coordination, and employee facilities (as applicable).
- Support training, skill development, and statutory trainings.
7. Reporting & Coordination
- Prepare HR MIS reports (headcount, attrition, compliance status).
- Act as the single HR point of contact for the Bangalore factory.
- Coordinate with Corporate HR / Head Office for alignment.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent.
- 8–12 years of HR experience,
- Strong knowledge of Indian labor laws and factory compliance.
- Experience handling blue-collar and white-collar workforce.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of statutory compliance and payroll processes
- Hands-on, solution-oriented approach
- Good communication and employee handling skills
- Ability to work independently in a factory environment
- Proficient in HRMS, payroll systems, and MS Excel
