Looking for position for one of the institutes of Symbiosis International University i.e. Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, Lavale, Pune
Hospital is 900 beds NABH Accredited, Multi-super Specialty State of the art hospital. Associated with Symbiosis Medical College for Women.
Major Responsibilities:
- Monitor the daily Pharmacy dept( pharmacy central & sub-stores) and ensure timely dispensing and delivery of medicines with followed by proper handover practices
- Maintain ROL, verify indents, GRNs, and ensure robust inventory control.
- Monitor and control expiry, near-expiry, and non-moving stock as per SOPs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with FDA, NDPS, and Drugs & Cosmetics Act.
- Monitor prescription transactions, controlled substances, and statutory registers regularly.
- Monitor stock levels, order necessary supplies, and manage the inventory to ensure adequate medication availability and control costs
- Prepare various periodical MIS/analytical reports
- Conduct regular interactions with clinical departments to ensure smooth pharmacy operations.
- Collaborate with Consultants/ Clinicians about pharmacy/ drug related concerns
- Contribute in work related to Drug formularies
- Ensure physical verification of all inventory on quarterly basis and high-value/high-consumption items as per SOPs.
- Contribute in developing/amending SOPs/Manuals, periodically/as and when required.
- Participate in various meetings/ committees, as may required
- Prepare, review, and submit inventory audit and compliance reports on time.
- Maintain pharmacy aesthetics, product display standards, and safety norms.
- Prepare duty rosters, manage staff scheduling, and supervise day-to-day activities.
- Address grievances from clinical or support staff related to pharmacy.
- Address grievance and discipline concern of staff under control and escalate appropriately.
- Oversee proper documentation of all pharmacy activities and ensure traceability.
- Maintain proper records, files, registers as required by dept & statutes, including soft copies in computer system. Ensure indexing of files/ records
- Maintain records and quality standards as per NABH/SOPs.
- Participate in development and implement quality improvement initiatives
- Participating in training need analysis, training staff under control as per department requirements and NABH or any other quality standards.
- Participate in preparing and managing the annual pharmacy budget, like CPAX & OPEX
Requirements:
Diploma/Bachelor in Pharmacy
15 Years + experience, minimum 10 years in hospital pharmacy, with 1–2 years in similar managerial role
Valid Pharmacy Registration (D Pharma/B Pharma with PPP card – preferred)
Immediate joiner preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
