Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Advisor to manage and oversee all legal aspects across our construction, hospitality, and water project divisions. The role involves ensuring legal compliance, managing contracts, handling regulatory approvals, and protecting the company’s interests across multiple business verticals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal guidance on construction projects, hospitality operations, and water-related contracts
- Draft, review, and negotiate agreements including:
- EPC contracts, vendor agreements, and subcontractor agreements
- Lease agreements and property documentation
- Joint venture and partnership agreements
- Ensure compliance with labour laws, environmental laws, municipal regulations, and industry-specific norms
- Handle licenses, permits, and approvals (construction permits, trade licenses, pollution control, etc.)
- Manage legal risks related to land acquisition, project execution, and operations
- Handle legal notices, disputes, arbitration, and litigation matters
- Liaise with government authorities, regulatory bodies, and external legal counsel
- Support internal teams in contract execution and compliance matters
- Draft and review internal policies and legal documents
- Stay updated with laws related to infrastructure, hospitality, and water management sectors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law (LLB); LLM preferred
- 5+ years of experience in construction/infrastructure or hospitality legal domain
- Strong knowledge of:
- Contract Law
- Real Estate & Property Law
- Labour Laws
- Environmental & Water Regulations
- Experience in handling project-based legal documentation and compliance
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working with infrastructure or water treatment projects
- Familiarity with government tendering and project contracts
- Knowledge of local municipal and statutory approvals
- Strong coordination skills with cross-functional teams
Working Details:
- Working Days: Monday to Saturday
- Flexible engagement (Full-time / Retainer basis depending on project needs)
