Infrastructure Specialist – VMware Migration

Key Responsibilities
- Provide L1–L3 support for VMware Horizon VDI environments.
- Manage persistent and non-persistent desktop pools.
- Create and maintain golden images, patching, and application packaging.
- Troubleshoot user sessions, performance, printing, and profile-related issues.
- Monitor system health, capacity, and performance.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes.
- Support upgrades, patches, and Horizon component updates.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on networking, storage, and host-related issues.
- Maintain SOP documentation and support UAT activities for VDI initiatives.

- VMware Horizon View 7.x/8.x (Connection Server, Composer, Agent)
- Windows 10/11 Administration
- Active Directory and Group Policies
- Horizon Administrator/Console
- vSphere Client
- Basic PowerShell Scripting
- IT Support and VDI Support Experience
Preferred Skills
- FSLogix and Profile Management
- Application Packaging and Troubleshooting
- Desktop Pool Deployment (Instant Clone, Linked Clone)
- MFA, Antivirus, and DLP Integration
- Jira or ITSM Tools
- Monitoring Tools (ControlUp, vRealize Operations, Horizon Help Desk Tool)
- Certifications: VMware VCP-DTM, ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+
Note: Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of IT support experience with at least 1 year of hands-on VDI support experience.
Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,500,000.00 per year
