Role Overview
Sterling & Wilson Data Center Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced Compliance Lead to manage end-to-end statutory and labour law compliance for large-scale Data Center, EPC, and Construction projects.
The role requires strong core labour law expertise, multi-site compliance handling, and direct liaison with government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
1. Statutory & Labour Law Compliance
- End-to-end compliance under Central & State Labour Laws
- Strong hands-on experience in:
- Contract Labour (R&A) Act – CLRA
- Factories Act
- Minimum Wages Act
- Payment of Wages Act
- PF, ESIC
- Bonus, Gratuity, Shops & Establishment Act
- Ensure 100% statutory compliance across multiple project sites
2. Multi-Site & Project Compliance
- Manage compliance for Data Center / EPC / Construction / Infrastructure sites
- Monitor vendor & contractor labour compliance
- Oversee deployment, registration, and renewal of licenses and statutory filings
3. Government Liaison & Audits
- Liaise with Labour Department, Factory Inspectors, PF, ESIC, and local authorities
- Independently handle:
- Statutory audits
- Labour inspections
- Show cause notices & compliance closures
- Ensure zero non-compliance risk during inspections
4. Documentation, SOP & MIS
- Draft, implement, and monitor compliance frameworks, SOPs, and internal controls
- Prepare monthly/quarterly compliance MIS
- Maintain statutory registers, returns, and documentation
5. Cross-Functional Coordination
- Work closely with HR, Legal, Projects, Finance, EHS, and Contractors
- Support legal team on labour-related cases & notices
- Ensure compliance with labour welfare, safety, and environmental norms
Mandatory Candidate Requirements
✅ Mumbai-based candidates only
✅ LLB or LLM – Mandatory
✅ Core Labour Law handling experience is compulsory
✅ 8–12 years of compliance experience in EPC / Construction / Infrastructure / Real Estate
✅ Hands-on multi-site compliance exposure
✅Maximum Notice Period: 45 Days
❌ Profiles without core labour law exposure will NOT be considered
Education
LLB / LLM – Mandatory
Postgraduate degree preferred
Specialization in Labour Laws / Industrial Relations is a strong advantage
