We are looking for a skilled and passionate South Indian & Continental Chef to join our team at Innospire Business Park. The ideal candidate should have experience in preparing high-quality South Indian breakfast, meals, snacks, and Continental dishes while maintaining hygiene, consistency, and presentation standards.
The chef will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, food preparation, maintaining inventory, and ensuring smooth day-to-day kitchen workflow for café, workspace, and event requirements inside the business park environment.
Responsibilities
- Prepare authentic South Indian dishes such as dosa, idli, vada, chutneys, curries, rice items, and tiffins
- Prepare Continental dishes including pasta, sandwiches, salads, grills, breakfast platters, and café-style items
- Maintain food quality, taste consistency, and presentation standards
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness and hygiene at all times
- Manage inventory, stock checking, and ingredient storage
- Coordinate with management for menu planning and special events
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle kitchen equipment responsibly and efficiently
Requirements
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a South Indian or Continental Chef
- Knowledge of both traditional and modern cooking techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong understanding of hygiene and kitchen management
- Team player with good communication skills
- Ability to handle bulk orders and café/event kitchen operations is a plus
Preferred Skills
- Experience in cafés, cloud kitchens, restaurants, or corporate kitchens
- Creative plating and menu innovation
- Multi-cuisine knowledge is an added advantage
