Senior Salesforce Marketing Cloud QA Engineer / Analyst
Must Have
- Strong hands‑on experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud testing, including end‑to‑end campaign flows such as journeys, automations, email/content execution, and related integrations.
- Solid technical QA experience, covering functional, regression, system, integration testing, and UAT support.
- Strong ability to test APIs, integrations, and data flows, including validating data accuracy, data mapping, and downstream system impact.
- Experience with test strategy, test planning, test execution, and release readiness in an Agile environment.
- A proactive and ownership‑driven mindset, with the ability to take issues through to resolution and raise risks early.
- Strong problem‑solving skills, with the ability to investigate and troubleshoot complex issues across systems, data, and workflows.
- Ability to clearly communicate technical issues to business stakeholders, translating defects, risks, and trade‑offs into business impact.
- Experience using SQL for data validation, including campaign data, audience lists, reports, and data exports.
- Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud and JIRA.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge or experience with Salesforce Data Cloud, including validation of customer data, segmentation, activation, and overall data quality.
- Interest and willingness to work beyond Salesforce, including testing across AWS, SAP, and broader MarTech platforms.
- Experience with test automation frameworks.
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and release health metrics, especially for early defect detection and improving production confidence.
- Experience mentoring junior QA team members or contributing to QA standards, documentation, and quality practices.
- Exposure to MC Personalization, Sales Cloud, and AWS tools (S3 Buckets, Lambda, CloudWatch).
- Experience with Datadog and API testing tools such as Bruno or Postman.
