The General Manager – Corporate Relations will be responsible for developing and managing strategic relationships with corporate organizations, industry leaders, and key decision-makers to enhance campus placement opportunities, internships, industry collaborations, and talent development initiatives. The role requires a strong network within the corporate sector and the ability to drive meaningful partnerships that support student career outcomes and institutional growth.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, CHROs, HR Heads, Talent Acquisition leaders, and key stakeholders across industries.
- Identify, engage, and onboard new corporate partners for campus recruitment, internships, live projects, and industry-academia initiatives.
- Build strategic alliances with organizations to create sustainable placement and career opportunities for students.
- Represent the university at corporate forums, industry events, networking platforms, and professional associations.
- Drive campus placement initiatives by securing recruitment mandates from leading organizations.
- Coordinate end-to-end placement activities, including pre-placement talks, recruitment drives, interviews, assessment centers, and selection processes.
- Work closely with academic departments and career services teams to align student talent with industry requirements.
- Facilitate internship opportunities, management trainee programs, and graduate hiring initiatives.
- Maintain and update placement databases, employer records, and student employment data.
- Track placement performance metrics, hiring trends, and recruiter engagement activities.
- Prepare periodic MIS reports, placement analytics, and presentations for senior management.
- Strengthen the university's employer brand among corporate recruiters and industry partners.
- Identify opportunities for industry interactions, guest lectures, leadership talks, workshops, and collaborative projects.
- Support initiatives related to executive education, corporate training, and employee upskilling programs where applicable.
- Master's Degree in Management, Human Resources, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- MBA from a recognized institution preferred.
- 10–15 years of relevant experience in Corporate Relations, Enterprise Sales, B2B Sales, Talent Acquisition, Placement Management, or Industry Engagement.
- Proven track record of building corporate partnerships and driving placement outcomes in higher education, edtech, consulting, or related sectors.
- Strong network across corporates, HR leadership, and recruitment communities is highly desirable.
