About the Role
We are looking for an energetic and creative Marketing Intern to join the team at The J Spot! If you live and breathe marketing, love the live entertainment and comedy space, and want a hands-on role that can grow into a full-time career, we want to meet you. This is a high-impact internship. We aren't looking for someone to just fetch coffee; we are looking for a driven individual who wants to prove themselves and transition into a permanent full-time role with our core team.
What You’ll Do (Key Responsibilities)
- Content Creation: Conceptualize, shoot, and edit engaging content (Reels, memes, stories, posts) that captures the vibe of our live shows and artists.
- Social Media Management: Help manage our social media presence, interact with our community, and jump on the latest trends to boost our reach.
- WhatsApp Marketing: Design and execute targeted WhatsApp broadcast campaigns to keep our audience updated on daily lineups and drive ticket sales.
- Email Marketing: Draft fun, click-worthy email newsletters and promotional blasts to our subscriber base.
- Offline & On-Ground Marketing: Drive local offline marketing efforts, manage promotional materials at the venue, and brainstorm grassroots strategies to ensure our shows are always packed.
What We’re Looking For
- A creative hustler with a genuine interest in digital and offline marketing.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic content creation tools (Canva, CapCut, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Good communication skills with a knack for writing catchy, fun copy.
- Availability: Must be perfectly comfortable working evening shifts (5:30 PM – 11:30 PM) and being on the floor when the action happens.
- Long-term Vision: Someone hungry to learn, take ownership, and step up into a full-time position after the internship period.
