Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Accountancy lessons as per the prescribed curriculum.
- Teach accounting concepts, financial statements, journal entries, ledgers, trial balance, depreciation, partnership accounts, company accounts, and other commerce-related topics.
- Develop lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Conduct regular assessments, tests, examinations, and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records, attendance, and student performance reports.
- Support students in board examination preparation and academic improvement plans.
Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.
- Encourage student participation, critical thinking, and practical application of concepts.
- Address academic concerns and provide remedial support when required.
Parent & Student Engagement
- Participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
- Communicate student progress and areas of improvement to parents.
- Mentor and guide students on academic and career-related matters in commerce.
Administrative Responsibilities
- Complete academic documentation and school records as per timelines.
- Participate in school events, examinations, invigilation duties, and departmental meetings.
- Contribute to curriculum development and academic initiatives.
Qualification
- B.Com / M.Com (Mandatory)
- B.Ed. preferred
- Additional certification in Commerce/Accounting will be an added advantage.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of teaching experience in Accountancy (Secondary/Senior Secondary level preferred).
- Experience in CBSE, ICSE, ISC, State Board, or similar curriculum preferred.

- Strong subject knowledge in Accountancy and Commerce.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and educational technology tools.
- Strong classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Ability to analyze student performance and implement improvement strategies.
