Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Control Inspector to oversee coating operations, ensure compliance with industry standards, and maintain product quality.. Works with limited supervision, following detailed specifications that outline every requirement for the specific job. The job requires each product to achieve the required DFT to the specified standards using appropriate equipment and materials while following the employer's recommended procedures.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with coating standards (ISO, ASTM, SSPC/NACE), paint systems (epoxy, polyurethane, fluoropolymer), and equipment (spray guns, curing ovens).
- Attention to Detail: Ability to detect even minor defects or deviations.
- Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving mindset to identify root causes and corrective actions.
- Communication: Clear reporting to management and effective guidance for shop-floor workers.
- Integrity & Independence: Must be unbiased in inspections, even under production pressure.
- Hands-On Experience: Prior work in industrial coating, QA/QC, or inspection roles.

Candidate Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering (preferred).
- 1–5 years of experience in industrial coating, QA/QC, or inspection.
- Knowledge of coating systems (epoxy, polyurethane, fluoropolymer) and spray equipment.
- Familiarity with international standards (ISO, ASTM, SSPC/NACE).
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Effective communication and reporting ability.
- Integrity and independence in inspections.
