Job Summary
Catalyst Education is looking for an experienced and highly motivated Senior Academic Counsellor to guide prospective students in choosing the right courses and achieving their career goals. The ideal candidate should have excellent counselling and sales skills, a strong understanding of the EdTech industry, and a proven ability to achieve admission targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents about courses, career opportunities, and admission processes.
- Understand students' educational goals and recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound leads and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Conduct detailed counselling sessions through phone calls, video meetings, and face-to-face interactions.
- Follow up with prospective students to maximize admission conversions.
- Achieve monthly admission and revenue targets.
- Maintain accurate student records and update the CRM regularly.
- Support junior Academic Counsellors by sharing best practices and helping improve conversions.
- Coordinate with the Marketing, Admissions, and Academic teams to ensure a seamless enrollment experience.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term relationships with students.
Requirements
- 2–5 years of experience in Academic Counselling, Admissions, or Sales in the EdTech or Education industry.
- Excellent communication, counselling, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong sales aptitude with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
- Experience using CRM software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to handle multiple enquiries in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, and passionate about helping students succeed.
