Job Summary: We are looking for a professional and charismatic Satellite News Anchor to deliver news stories accurately and engagingly across multiple platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a strong journalistic background, and the ability to present news confidently to a broad audience.
Key Responsibilities:
Present news stories, updates, and breaking news via satellite to viewers in a clear and engaging manner.
Conduct research to ensure accuracy and comprehensiveness of news reports.
Write and edit news scripts in coordination with the news team.
Collaborate with reporters, producers, and technical staff to ensure seamless broadcast delivery.
Stay updated on current events, political developments, and other relevant news.
Maintain professional appearance and demeanor on camera.
Respond to live breaking news and adapt scripts accordingly.
Ensure compliance with journalistic ethics and broadcasting standards.
Monitor social media and news feeds for additional story ideas and updates.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a news anchor, journalist, or related role.
Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills.
Strong understanding of current affairs and news reporting standards.
Ability to work under pressure and handle live broadcasts.
Proficiency with broadcast equipment and newsroom software.
Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or related field.
Pay: ₹9,192.70 - ₹32,740.85 per month
