Job Description – Quality Checker (QC)
Position: Quality Checker (QC)
Location: Dombivli Factory, Maharashtra
Experience: 1–3 Years
Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality inspections of garments during and after production.
- Check stitching, measurements, finishing, packing, and overall garment quality.
- Identify defects and coordinate with production teams for corrections.
- Ensure products meet company and buyer quality standards.
- Maintain inspection records and quality reports.
- Monitor production processes to minimize quality issues and rework.
- Report quality concerns and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure timely completion of inspections to support production schedules.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of experience as a Quality Checker in the garment/apparel industry.
- Knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, stitching, and finishing standards.
- Ability to identify defects and maintain quality benchmarks.
- Basic knowledge of quality control procedures and documentation.
- Good observation and attention-to-detail skills.
- Ability to work in a factory environment and coordinate with production teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in garment manufacturing units.
- Understanding of AQL standards and garment quality requirements.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
