- Main Duties
- A. Prevention of Corruption and Fraud
- Detecting bribery, fraud, embezzlement, and corruption
- Monitoring suspicious financial transactions
- Ensuring ethical business practices
- B. Investigation of Complaints
- Investigating employee misconduct
- Examining complaints related to:
- o Financial irregularities
- o Abuse of authority
- o Misuse of company assets
- C. Monitoring Compliance
- Ensuring employees follow company rules and policies
- Checking adherence to legal and regulatory requirements
- D. Conducting Vigilance Audits
- Reviewing sensitive departments such as:
- o Procurement
- o Stores
- o Finance
- o Contracts
- Identifying loopholes and control weaknesses
- E. Vendor and Contract Scrutiny
- Monitoring tendering and procurement processes
- Preventing favoritism and unfair practices
- Verifying transparency in vendor selection
- F. Awareness and Ethics Promotion
- Educating employees about:
- o Anti-corruption policies
- o Ethical conduct
- o Whistleblower mechanisms
- G. Reporting to Management
- Submitting investigation reports
- Recommending disciplinary action
- Suggesting improvements in internal controls
