Job Description – Senior Purchase Executive (3–4 Years Experience)

Job Summary
The Senior Purchase Executive will manage end-to-end procurement operations, vendor relationships, purchase planning, GRN verification, inventory control, and cost optimization to ensure uninterrupted product availability across all Magson stores.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage procurement of FMCG products across assigned categories.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and commercial agreements with suppliers.
- Prepare and approve Purchase Orders (POs).
- Supervise and verify Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs).
- Ensure accurate matching of POs, GRNs, and supplier invoices.
- Monitor stock levels and plan timely replenishment.
- Coordinate with stores, warehouse, logistics, and accounts.
- Handle supplier claims, returns, shortages, and damaged goods.
- Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships.
- Prepare procurement MIS reports and analyse purchasing trends.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong vendor management and negotiation skills.
- Hands-on experience with GRN, procurement, and inventory management.
- Advanced MS Excel and ERP knowledge.
- Analytical thinking and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Eligibility
- Graduate in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in FMCG retail, supermarket, or distribution procurement.
Pay: ₹180,000.00 - ₹300,000.00 per year
