Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Business Development Manager – CSR & Government Relations to lead our business development initiatives by securing CSR partnerships, government projects, institutional funding, and strategic collaborations. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of raising CSR funds, building relationships with corporate organizations, government departments, PSUs, and funding agencies, and converting opportunities into long-term projects.
The role requires strong networking, proposal development, negotiation, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills to expand the organization's portfolio in Skill Development, Education, Livelihood, Entrepreneurship, CSR, and Community Development programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities through Corporate CSR, Government Departments, PSUs, Foundations, and International/National funding agencies.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with CSR Heads, Corporate Leaders, Government Officials, Industry Associations, and strategic partners.
- Liaise with Central and State Government departments to identify project opportunities and facilitate collaborations.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve organizational growth and revenue targets.
- Lead end-to-end proposal development, including concept notes, technical proposals, financial proposals, presentations, and grant applications.
- Prepare Expressions of Interest (EOIs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and tender documentation.
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, negotiations, and partnership discussions.
- Represent the organization at CSR forums, industry events, government meetings, conferences, and networking platforms.
- Collaborate with program, finance, and technical teams to design high-quality project proposals.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients, donors, and funding opportunities.
- Monitor CSR trends, government schemes, funding opportunities, and policy updates.
- Develop long-term strategic partnerships with corporate organizations and government agencies.
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual business development and fundraising targets.
- Travel extensively across India for meetings, project discussions, and partnership development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Social Work, Rural Development, Public Policy, Management, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in Business Development, CSR Partnerships, Government Relations, Institutional Fundraising, or Resource Mobilization.
- Experience in NGOs, Skill Development Organizations, CSR Consulting Firms, Education, Livelihood, or Social Development sectors is highly preferred.
