Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Site Engineer to oversee the implementation of lighting design projects at site. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating with contractors, vendors, consultants, and clients to ensure that lighting installations are executed as per approved drawings, specifications, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise lighting installation works at project sites.
- Ensure execution is in accordance with approved lighting drawings, specifications, and design intent.
- Coordinate with architects, interior designers, MEP consultants, contractors, and lighting vendors.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare site progress reports.
- Review shop drawings and lighting fixture submittals.
- Verify installation quality and ensure compliance with project standards.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues.
- Attend project coordination meetings and provide technical support.
- Conduct fixture mock-ups, aiming sessions, and commissioning activities.
- Prepare snag lists and monitor closure of observations.
- Support the design team during project execution and handover stages.
- Maintain project documentation, site records, and progress photographs.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma / Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in electrical, lighting, interior, or building services projects.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge and willingness to travel may also apply.
Required Skills
- Understanding of lighting systems, electrical drawings, and installation practices.
- Ability to read and interpret AutoCAD drawings and technical documents.
- Knowledge of lighting fixtures, control systems, and electrical infrastructure.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and AutoCAD.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in hospitality, residential, commercial, or façade lighting projects.
- Familiarity with lighting control systems, DALI, KNX, DMX, or automation systems.
- Experience in project coordination and vendor management.
Job Requirements
- Willingness to travel extensively for site visits across India and overseas projects when required.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid driving license is an added advantage.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
