Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic HR Manager to lead and manage human resource functions across our group of companies, specifically supporting operations in machine shop and foundry divisions. The role demands strong expertise in manufacturing HR practices, statutory compliance, industrial relations, and workforce management in a multi-location environment.
The incumbent will play a key role in aligning HR strategies with business goals, ensuring operational efficiency, legal compliance, and employee engagement across all units.
Key Responsibilities:1. HR Operations & Workforce Management
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations for machine shop and foundry units.
- Manage manpower planning, budgeting, and deployment across multiple units.
- Ensure optimum workforce utilization, shift planning, and productivity improvement.
- Supervise recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies for skilled and unskilled workforce.
2. Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Relations (ER)
- Handle union interactions, negotiations, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations and resolve grievances/disputes effectively.
- Manage disciplinary actions, domestic inquiries, and legal proceedings if required.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance morale and productivity.
3. Statutory Compliance & Legal
- Ensure compliance with all labor laws and regulations (Factories Act, PF, ESI, Bonus, Gratuity, CLRA, etc.).
- Liaise with government authorities, auditors, and inspectors.
- Maintain statutory records, registers, and documentation across all group companies.
- Conduct compliance audits and ensure corrective actions.
4. Payroll & Compensation Management
- Oversee payroll processing, wage structuring, and statutory deductions.
- Ensure timely and accurate salary disbursement.
- Manage compensation benchmarking and cost-control initiatives.
5. Training & Development
- Identify skill gaps and implement training programs for shop-floor employees.
- Develop multi-skilling and competency frameworks for machine shop and foundry operations.
- Drive leadership development and succession planning initiatives.
6. Performance Management
- Implement and monitor performance appraisal systems.
- Align performance metrics with production targets and organizational goals.
- Facilitate productivity-linked incentive schemes (PLI).
7. HRMS & Process Improvement
- Implement and manage HRMS systems for automation and reporting.
- Develop SOPs and continuously improve HR processes across units.
- Generate MIS reports for management review.
8. Health, Safety & Welfare
- Ensure adherence to safety policies and practices in foundry and machine shop environments.
- Promote a culture of workplace safety and employee well-being.
- Manage canteen, transport, and employee welfare activities.
Key Requirements:Education:
- MBA/PGDM in Human Resources / MSW or equivalent.
Experience:
- 8–15 years of HR experience in manufacturing industries.
- Mandatory experience in machine shop, foundry, or heavy engineering sectors.
- Experience handling multi-unit/group company HR operations.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of Industrial Relations and labor laws.
- Expertise in statutory compliance and audits.
- Excellent negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
- Proven leadership and team management ability.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills.
- Proficiency in HRMS and MS Office tools.
Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
