Job Description:
QC/QA Executive (Beverages Packaged Drinking Water & CSD)
Location: Siliguri-WB / Jaipur-Rajasthan

Job Summary
We are looking for a vigilant and detail-oriented QC/QA Executive to oversee the quality standards of our Beverage production unit, specifically focusing on PET bottle Packaged Drinking Water and Carbonated Soft Drinks (CSD). The ideal candidate will ensure that all incoming raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods meet stringent food safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
1. Process & Line Quality Control:
- Monitor the entire production line for Packaged Drinking Water and CSD to ensure compliance with SOPs.
- Conduct hourly checks on critical parameters: Gas volume, Brix levels, pH, and TDS.
- Oversee the blowing and filling process of PET bottles to ensure correct neck finish, weight, and capping integrity.
2. Laboratory Analysis:
- Perform chemical and microbiological analysis of raw water, treated water, and finished products.
- Conduct shelf-life studies and sensory evaluations of CSD flavors.
- Maintain and calibrate lab equipment (Refractometers, pH meters, CO2 testers).
3. Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Maintain documentation for FSSAI, BIS (IS 14543), and HACCP standards.
- Conduct internal audits and assist during third-party or regulatory inspections.
- Implement and monitor Hygiene and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) on the shop floor.
4. Material Inspection:
- Inspect incoming raw materials (Preforms, Caps, Labels, CO2, Flavors) against set specifications.
- Handle non-conforming products and initiate Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
Mandatory Qualifications & Skills
- Education: B.Sc / M.Sc in Food Technology, Chemistry, Microbiology, or Biotechnology.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a QC/QA Executive specifically within a Beverage (Water/CSD) plant.
- Technical Knowledge: * Thorough understanding of BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) for packaged drinking water.
- Hands-on experience in CO2 testing and CSD filling line quality.
- Knowledge of CIP (Cleaning-in-Place) and sanitation processes.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and the ability to work in shifts.
