Job Title: Cloud DevSecOps Engineer
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud DevSecOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage secure cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with cloud platforms, automation tools, containerization, infrastructure as code, and security best practices. This role focuses on integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle while ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or Azure DevOps.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Automate deployment, monitoring, and scaling of applications and services.
- Integrate security tools and practices into DevOps workflows (SAST, DAST, container scanning, secrets management).
- Manage Docker containers and Kubernetes/OpenShift orchestration environments.
- Configure and maintain cloud security controls, IAM policies, and compliance frameworks.
- Monitor system performance, logs, vulnerabilities, and security events using tools like Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, or Grafana.
- Collaborate with development, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure application delivery.
- Support disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability architectures.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation activities.
- Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards such as SOC2, HIPAA, PCI-DSS, or NIST.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or DevSecOps.
- Strong experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on expertise with CI/CD tools and automation frameworks.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and container security.
- Experience integrating security tools into CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with Linux/Unix administration.
- Knowledge of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and cloud security concepts.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools.
- Understanding of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cloud certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert, or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA).
- Security certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+.
- Experience in regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or government.
- Familiarity with Zero Trust architecture and compliance automation.
