We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to lead nationwide service operations for Industrial Laser Systems, CNC Machines, and Automation Equipment. The candidate should have hands-on experience in installation & commissioning, troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, AMC management, customer service, and team handling. Strong knowledge of industrial laser systems, automation, CNC/machine tools, along with the ability to manage field service engineers and ensure high customer satisfaction, is essential. Candidates from the Industrial Laser, Automation, CNC Machine Tools, SPM, or Capital Equipment industry will be preferred. Willingness to travel across India is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the nationwide service operations for industrial laser and automation systems.
- Oversee installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, and breakdown support at customer sites.
- Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and ensure timely execution of service commitments.
- Lead, mentor, and coordinate regional service engineers to achieve high customer satisfaction.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to laser systems, CNC machines, and industrial automation equipment.
- Coordinate with sales, application, and spare parts teams to ensure seamless customer support.
- Monitor service KPIs, response times, and service quality while driving continuous improvement.
- Prepare service reports, customer documentation, and operational MIS.
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong experience with industrial laser systems (fiber, CO₂, or sheet metal processing lasers).
- Hands-on knowledge of automation systems, CNC machine tools, PLCs, servo systems, and industrial controls.
- Experience in installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.
- Proven experience in AMC management and customer service operations.
- Strong leadership, team management, and customer relationship skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India.
