What would you do? The Manufacturing Engineer Role will be aligned to Accenture’s fastest growing business segment, Accenture Operations. You will build exceptional client relationship management skills while working in a team environment. You will develop strong project management skills and grow analytical problem-solving capabilities. You will be part of Accenture’s Digital Manufacturing Solutions team for driving significant and tangible value by impacting bottom line results that can support our client’s strategic objectives like sustainability, innovation growth. You will join our Digital Manufacturing Solutions team across the globe and collaborate using a common set of processes, platform, and tools. Stakeholder Communication: • Liaise with end stakeholders to confirm on the manufacturing processes and procedure. • Liaise with SME’s to resolve discrepancies and issues if any. • Maintain strong relationships with Engineers and operators to facilitate smooth transactions and resolve any issues promptly. A systematic approach used for buying all the goods and services needed for a particular project or for the company generally to stay sustainable. It consists of: the identification of need; finding and qualifying the suppliers; requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results; and contract close.
What are we looking for? Preferred Qualifications: • Bachelor s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 1.5-2 years of experience in Manufacturing). • Experience with process simulations and standard operating procedures. • Experience in SAP/ERP, Microsoft Excel to create pivot tables, graphs and charts • Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively relate data to coworkers • Excellent critical thinking skills to help solve business problems and make decisions • Advanced technical & manufacturing skills. • Analytical thinker. Professional Skills: • Strong Knowledge on Reading & understanding Engineering drawing • Strong oral and written communication skills with interpersonal and leadership skills. • Ability to work independently. • Excellent Communication and Analytical skills. Roles and Responsibilities: Essential Responsibilities for Manufacturing Engineer: • Review inputs, ensure scope clarity and map expectations in actual deliverables • Primary expertise is manufacturing processes. Expected to create End-to-End manufacturing process (Routing) for machining and assembly operations through the application of acquired expertise • Analyse engineering drawings and documentation for material process & quality elements • Identify opportunities for process and method improvements using a variety of tools • Accountable for Engineering Change Notes, Inspection Test Plans or Dimensional Data Sheet, Quality Info Records • Updates/creates Routers & Bill of Materials as per ECN description • Responsible for the Raw Material Substitution for open orders in terms of Raw Material availability & cost effectiveness • Participation and execution of improvement actions derived from Kaizen workshops • Developing and implementing cost-effective process modifications to help improve safety and reliability • Review the process plans/routings, instructions, methods, procedures tooling required. • Work towards Risk-based thinking & Continuous Improvement while on the job to bring about Kaizen ideas and implement • Identify possible improvement opportunities in processes and standards • Facilitate and promote use of appropriate problem-solving techniques for effective root cause analysis and successful corrective action • Ensuring processes comply with safety and quality standards • Knowledge in SOLIDWORKS • Accurately analyze and collect data for various types of business reports
