Key Responsibilities
- Conduct live online chess classes for beginners, intermediate, and advanced levels
- Teach core concepts: piece movement, openings, tactics, middlegame strategies, and endgames
- Develop lesson plans aligned with Talent Craft India’s structured curriculum
- Engage students using interactive activities, puzzles, and practice games
- Track student progress and share regular feedback with parents and the operations team
- Maintain discipline, motivation, and a positive learning environment
- Prepare students for internal tournaments and friendly matches
- Coordinate with the operations team for scheduling and class management
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Strong knowledge of chess fundamentals and strategies
- Prior experience in teaching chess to children (online or offline) preferred
- Good communication skills in English and/or Hindi
- Comfortable using online teaching tools (Zoom / Google Meet / Chess platforms)
- Patient, energetic, and child-centric teaching approach
- Ability to handle group classes (buddy classes) as well as one-to-one sessions
Preferred (Good to Have)
- Chess rating or tournament experience
- Certification in chess coaching
- Experience working with kids aged 5–15 years
- Familiarity with platforms like Lichess, Chess.com, or ChessBase
