BKAM requires a video editor for making visually appealing videos for platforms like YouTube and social media. The person will also be required to make thumbnails for our YouTube videos.
Video Editor Responsibilities:
- Meeting with the Producer/director to determine production vision.
- Reviewing raw material to determine the shots.
- Maintaining continuity while moving shots according to scene value.
- Trimming footage and putting together the rough project.
- Inserting sound effects, music, graphics, and special effects.
- Ensuring the project follows a logical sequence.
- Consulting with the Producer/Director throughout the project.
- Creatives for Social media and YouTube
- Editing videos for social media e.g. Instagram reels and YouTube shorts
Video Editor Requirements:
- Work experience as a video editor 5-8 Years.
- Mandatory: Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects and Adobe Photoshop Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator will be an added advantage
- Creative and artistic skills.
- Portfolio of previous work.
- Ability to work to a tight schedule.
- Ability to translate ideas into complete projects.
