We are looking for a dynamic Anchor + Script Writer who can research, write, and present high-quality news and long-form content for our YouTube channels.
This is a hybrid journalistic role — ideal for someone who can think like a reporter, write like a storyteller, and confidently present on camera like a professional anchor.
Key Responsibilities- Research & Journalism
- Research daily trending topics (education, medical, engineering, national issues, controversies)
- Verify facts from credible sources and ensure accuracy & authenticity
- Break down complex news into clear, audience-friendly narratives
- Stay updated with real-time news trends and viral topics
Script Writing
- Write engaging scripts for:
- Daily news videos
- Long-form YouTube videos (10–20 min)
- Podcast-style content
- Structure scripts with:
- Strong hook
- Clear storyline
- Retention-driven flow
- Impactful closing
- Use a conversational + authoritative tone (not robotic news reading)
- Add human angles, storytelling, and emotional connect where required
Anchoring & On-Camera Presentation
- Present scripts confidently in front of the camera
- Deliver content in a clear, engaging, and natural tone
- Maintain energy, clarity, and audience connection
- Handle teleprompter or natural delivery smoothly
- Adapt delivery style based on content (serious, informative, conversational)
Collaboration
- Work closely with the editing, production, and creative team
- Contribute ideas for content strategy, video formats, and storytelling styles
- Participate in brainstorming for viral and high-retention content
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience in anchoring / presenting / journalism / content creation
- Strong scriptwriting and storytelling skills
- Excellent research and fact-checking ability
- Fluent in English (Hindi is a plus for wider audience reach)
- Confidence in front of camera with strong communication skills
- Understanding of YouTube content and audience retention
- Ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Journalism / Mass Communication / Media
- Experience in news channels, digital media, or YouTube content
- Familiarity with teleprompter usage and studio setup
- Understanding of viral content formats and digital storytelling
