Job Description
We are seeking an experienced General Physician (MD/DNB in General Medicine or Internal Medicine, or a highly experienced MBBS candidate) to lead the clinical operations at our Bangalore Centre. The Clinical Head will provide medical leadership, oversee patient care services, mentor multidisciplinary clinical teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive quality improvement initiatives while maintaining the highest standards of clinical excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership and oversee all medical services at the centre.
- Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, and patient-centric healthcare.
- Supervise and mentor Medical Officers, Nursing, Therapy, and other clinical teams.
- Lead multidisciplinary clinical discussions, patient reviews, and clinical decision-making.
- Develop and implement clinical protocols, SOPs, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, statutory regulations, and internal clinical governance policies.
- Monitor clinical outcomes, patient safety indicators, and quality metrics.
- Coordinate with operations and management teams to improve patient experience and operational efficiency.
- Participate in business development initiatives, referring physician engagement, and institutional growth.
- Manage medical emergencies and provide timely clinical guidance during critical situations.
- Promote continuous medical education and staff development.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS with a valid Medical Council Registration (Mandatory).
- MD/DNB in General Medicine or Internal Medicine is strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or multi-specialty healthcare setting.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a clinical leadership role such as Medical Superintendent, Clinical Head, Head of Department, or Chief Medical Officer.

- Experience in managing multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Crisis management and emergency care expertise.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong understanding of healthcare quality standards, audits, and regulatory compliance.
Preferred Attributes
- Experience in NABH/JCI accreditation and quality management systems.
- Well-connected within the Karnataka and South Indian medical fraternity.
- Experience in rehabilitation, post-acute care, internal medicine, or multi-specialty hospitals will be an added advantage.
- Ability to lead organizational growth while maintaining high clinical and ethical standards.
