Job Summary: We are looking for experienced Mechanics to monitor the day-to-day mechanical operations of our RMC Plant. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying breakdowns, faults, or abnormal functioning in plant machinery and carrying out manual repairs and maintenance to ensure minimum downtime and smooth production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Continuously monitor plant machinery, conveyor systems, mixers, batching units, pumps, and hydraulic systems for any signs of malfunction.
- Identify the root cause of mechanical issues and carry out immediate hands-on repairs.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance to avoid unexpected breakdowns.
- Attend emergency breakdowns promptly to minimize production loss.
- Maintain records of repairs, spare parts used, and maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate with the plant operator/supervisor regarding machine health and required shutdowns.
- Ensure proper lubrication, greasing, and upkeep of all mechanical parts.
- Follow all safety protocols while carrying out repair/maintenance work.
- Assist in installation or replacement of plant parts/equipment when required.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of hands-on mechanical experience, preferably in an RMC Plant / concrete batching plant / heavy machinery environment.
- Strong practical knowledge of mixers, batching plants, conveyor belts, hydraulic & pneumatic systems.
- Ability to independently diagnose and fix mechanical faults without heavy supervision.
- Basic understanding of welding, fitting, and fabrication work is a plus.
- Physically fit and willing to work on-site, including emergency call-outs.
- Team player with good problem-solving skills.
Qualification:
- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred), or equivalent hands-on experience.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
