Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance professional is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality systems to ensure that products, services, and processes meet defined standards and regulatory requirements. This role focuses on process improvement, compliance, and prevention of defects, rather than just detection.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control & Testing
- Perform physical, chemical, and microbiological testing of raw materials and finished products
- Ensure quality of herbal extracts, essential oils, and other botanical products
- Maintain batch-wise quality records and test reports
2. Process Monitoring
- Monitor production processes to ensure compliance with GMP and ISO standards
- Identify deviations and take corrective & preventive actions (CAPA)
- Conduct in-process quality checks during manufacturing
3. Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain SOPs, QC reports, COA (Certificate of Analysis), and audit documents
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards like FSSAI, GMP, and ISO
- Assist in internal and external audits
4. Vendor & Raw Material Quality
- Evaluate and approve raw material quality from suppliers
- Conduct vendor audits if required
5. Continuous Improvement
- Analyze defects and suggest process improvements
- Work closely with production and R & D teams
- Implement quality improvement initiatives
Experience:
- 1 - 3 years of experience in QA/QC ( Herbal / Ayurvedic / Nutraceutical / Pharma industry will be added advantage.)
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
