About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Associate to join our Kerala-based team. The role involves sales, business development, client engagement and initial counselling for doctors, medical students and parents exploring international medical education and career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle and qualify leads generated through GooCampus's marketing, website, events, referrals and other channels.
- Speak with doctors, students and parents to understand their career goals and requirements.
- Explain GooCampus services and provide initial information about relevant pathways.
- Coordinate detailed counselling sessions with senior counsellors and mentors.
- Follow up with prospects and work towards successful conversions.
- Build and maintain relationships with doctors, students, consultants and institutions.
- Identify and develop new business and partnership opportunities.
- Support seminars, webinars, meetings and other business-development activities.
- Maintain accurate lead information, follow-ups and sales activity in the CRM.
- Use AI tools, CRM platforms and digital tools to improve productivity and sales effectiveness.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or MBA.
- 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, education consulting, healthcare or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills, particularly in English and Malayalam.
- Hindi and other regional-language skills will be an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, sales and negotiation skills.
- Good follow-up and relationship-management skills.
- Comfortable working with targets.
- Good computer and CRM skills.
- Willingness to learn and use AI tools such as ChatGPT and other digital platforms.
