Teaching and Literacy
- Help kids and teens find books that match their reading levels and personal interests.
- Teach students how to spot fake news, evaluate online sources, and practice safe digital habits.
- Run programs like book clubs and reading challenges to build a school-wide reading culture.
Supporting Teachers and Curriculum
- Partner with classroom teachers to build lesson plans and resource lists.
- Co-teach classes on research skills, citations, and project building.
- Supply teachers with diverse, up-to-date materials that fit school learning goals.
- Managing the Library
- Organize, catalog, and update print books, e-books, and media equipment.
- Manage the library budget, plan schedules, and oversee helpers or staff.
- Keep the library a safe, welcoming, and quiet space for studying or reading.
Key Requirements & Skills
- Qualification: A Bachelor's degree in any stream followed by a BLISc degree.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with integrated library management systems (ILMS) and digital database navigation.
- Soft Skills: Strong organizational abilities, clear communication, and a helpful, service-oriented approach. [1, 2, 3]
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
