Job Summary
The Business Analyst – Sales & Distribution Analytics will be responsible for analyzing sales performance, advisor recruitment trends, and activation percentage across zones and channels. The role involves generating actionable insights, automating MIS reports, and supporting data-driven decision-making to enhance field force effectiveness and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
1. Sales & Recruitment Analytics
Analyze advisor recruitment trends across zones, channels, and time periods.
Track activation, and productivity of advisors.
Analyze key KPIs such as NOPs, premium, persistency, conversion ratios.
Drive performance dashboards to zonal heads, sales managers, and leadership teams.
2. Business Insights Reporting
Create standardized MIS and drive automated dashboards
Translate raw data into clear, visual, and actionable insights for business teams.
Highlight performance variances, growth drivers, and underperforming segments.
Support strategic sales reviews and channel effectiveness discussions.
3. Process Improvement & Data Governance
Work closely with sales operations to streamline processes
Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and alignment across channels
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
Partner with zonal / business heads, training and IT to ensure smooth data integration and visibility.
Conduct walkthrough/workshops to understand the dashboards and help sales drive the business
Present insights and recommendations to management through structured reports and presentations.
5. Project & Performance Support
Support national or zonal business projects — e.g., advisor activation drives, productivity initiative, and lead conversions drive.
Track KPIs and prepare pre- and post-campaign analyses.
Ensure timely delivery of data and insights for business reviews and leadership decks.
