The Pharmacist Assistant supports licensed pharmacists in dispensing medications, managing inventory, and providing basic customer service. They ensure smooth pharmacy operations while maintaining accuracy and compliance with regulations.
- Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescription medications
- Label medicines accurately and organize them properly
- Handle billing, payments, and maintain transaction records
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, including stock checking and expiry monitoring
- Receive and store incoming medical supplies
- Provide basic information to customers about medicines (as directed by the pharmacist)
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy
- Follow all safety and regulatory guidelines
- Manage customer queries and direct them to the pharmacist when needed
