Role Summary
The Metrics & Reporting Lead is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise-level operational and performance reporting for the US Health Benefits Administration business. This role ensures accurate, timely, and actionable insights across enrollment, eligibility, billing, claims, customer service, compliance, and financial operations.
Key Responsibilities
1. Metrics Strategy & Governance
- Define and maintain the enterprise KPI framework across all operational functions.
- Establish data governance standards, metric definitions, and reporting cadences.
- Ensure consistency of metrics across clients and business units.
- Own the single source of truth for operational performance reporting.
2. Operational Reporting & Dashboards
- Lead development of executive dashboards and operational scorecards.
- Deliver client-facing performance reports aligned to SLAs.
- Automate recurring reports using BI tools.
- Ensure high accuracy and audit-readiness of reports.
3. Data Analysis & Insights
- Translate raw data into actionable business insights.
- Identify trends, risks, and process bottlenecks.
- Conduct root cause analysis for SLA misses.
- Support forecasting and capacity planning.
4. Client & Leadership Enablement
- Act as the primary data partner for Operations and Client Leadership.
- Support QBRs, MBRs, and leadership reviews.
- Support RFPs and new client transitions with performance data.
5. Technology & Automation
- Partner with IT and Data Engineering to improve data pipelines.
- Drive BI automation and self-service analytics.
6. Compliance & Audit Support
- Ensure reporting complies with HIPAA, SOC, CMS, and audit requirements.
- Support internal and external audits with validated reporting.
7. Team Leadership
- Build and lead a high-performing analytics team.
- Establish training, quality, and performance frameworks.
Experience & Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Business, Finance, or related field.
- 10–12 years of experience in operations reporting/analytics.
- 3–5 years of people management experience.
- Strong expertise in Power BI/Tableau, SQL, and Advanced Excel.
- Deep understanding of US Health Benefits Administration operations.
- MBA or Master’s in Analytics.
- Six Sigma / PMP certification.
- Experience in onshore–offshore delivery models.
- Knowledge of HIPAA and CMS reporting standards.
