Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Techno Functional Consultant with 8-10 years of experience in planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and enterprise performance management solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) and hands-on experience implementing, configuring, support and enhancements optimizing planning applications for Finance and FP&A organizations.

The consultant will partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable planning, forecasting, reporting, and analytics solutions while supporting broader EPM transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities:

Functional Leadership

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial planning, Revenue Planning, budgeting and forecasting and management reporting processes.

Facilitate design workshops with Finance and FP&A stakeholders and translate requirements into EPBCS solutions.

Design end-to-end planning and forecasting solutions aligned with business objectives and governance standards.

Lead fit-gap assessments and recommend Oracle EPM leading practices.

EPBCS Application Development

Configure and support Financial Statement Planning, Workforce Planning, Revenue Planning, Strategic Modeling, and scenario or what-if analysis.

Design and maintain metadata structures, dimensions, hierarchies, planning forms, dashboards, business rules, calculation scripts, data mappings, and planning assumptions.

Coordinate application changes across development, test, and production environments using controlled migration and validation practices.

Budgeting and Forecasting

Implement annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting, rolling forecasts, and long-range planning processes.

Develop driver-based planning models for revenue, operating expenses, headcount, compensation, and capital expenditure.

Enable scenario analysis, variance analysis, and management to review workflows.

Integration and Data Management

Design and support integrations between EPBCS and Oracle Fusion ERP, HCM platforms, data warehouses, and external source systems.

Configure and monitor Oracle EPM Data Integration or Data Management processes, including inbound and outbound data loads.

Perform data validation, reconciliation, error analysis, and resolution across source and target systems.

Collaborate with technical teams on REST APIs, EPM Automate, file-based integrations, and scheduling or orchestration requirements.

Reporting and Analytics

Develop and maintain financial reports, management dashboards, ad hoc analyses, executive scorecards, and planning review packages.

Support Smart View templates and reporting solutions for Finance users.

Partner with FP&A teams to improve reporting efficiency, data transparency, and decision support.

Security and Administration

Design and maintain application security, including roles, groups, artifact access, and dimension-level data access.

Support planning cycle administration, workflow approvals, substitution variables, period controls, and application readiness activities.

Maintain metadata governance, change controls, documentation, and audit support.

Production Support and Continuous Improvement

Provide production support and troubleshoot calculation, data integration, workflow, performance, and reporting issues.

Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate issue resolution with business, technical, and Oracle support teams.

Evaluate quarterly Oracle EPM updates, conduct regression testing, and assess impacts to existing solutions.

Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve controls, and increase automation.

Qualifications:

8-10 years of experience in Oracle EPM EPBCS, Fin planning, WFP, Revenue planning and budgeting, or financial systems implementation and support.

At least 5 years of hands-on experience with Oracle EPBCS or Oracle EPM Cloud Planning.

Experience leading or playing a senior functional role in two or more full-lifecycle EPBCS implementations.

Demonstrated experience supporting enterprise budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, or Revenue planning processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EPBCS and FCCS is a plus

Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Financials and General Ledger processes.

Experience integrating workforce planning with HCM platforms and financial planning with ERP actuals.

Exposure to predictive planning, AI-assisted forecasting, and advanced analytics.

Experience working in Agile delivery models and with globally distributed teams.

Understanding of SOX controls, audit requirements, and financial systems governance.
