Mathematics Faculty – Foundation (Classes 6 to 10)
Job Summary
The Mathematics Faculty will be responsible for building a strong conceptual foundation in Mathematics for students of Classes 6 to 10, with a focus on preparing them for future competitive examinations such as JEE, Olympiads, NTSE (where applicable), and other aptitude-based exams. The faculty member should inspire logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence in Mathematics through engaging and student-centric teaching methods.
Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Teach Mathematics to students of Classes 6 to 10 following the institute’s curriculum.
- Build strong conceptual understanding and analytical thinking rather than rote learning.
- Prepare students for school examinations, scholarship exams, Olympiads, and Foundation-level competitive exams.
- Explain concepts using practical examples, visual aids, and real-life applications.
- Conduct regular doubt-solving sessions and revision classes.
- Ensure timely completion of the syllabus as per the academic calendar.
Content Development
- Prepare lesson plans before each session.
- Develop Daily Practice Problems (DPPs), worksheets, assignments, and homework.
- Create chapter-wise tests, unit tests, and full-length mock examinations.
- Design higher-order thinking and application-based questions.
- Prepare concise revision notes and formula sheets.
Student Assessment & Mentoring
- Evaluate assignments, tests, and answer sheets promptly.
- Track individual student progress and maintain performance records.
- Identify weak areas and provide personalized guidance.
- Counsel students on study techniques, time management, and exam strategies.
- Motivate students to develop consistency and confidence in Mathematics.
Classroom Management
- Maintain an interactive, disciplined, and positive learning environment.
- Encourage active participation and collaborative problem-solving.
- Foster curiosity and logical reasoning through classroom discussions and activities.
Parent & Institute Coordination
- Share periodic academic updates with parents.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and academic review sessions.
- Coordinate with other faculty members for integrated academic planning.
- Attend faculty development programs and internal training sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Science, or a related field.
- Strong command over school-level Mathematics and Foundation concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Passion for teaching young learners and nurturing academic excellence.
Preferred Experience
- Experience teaching Foundation batches (Classes 6–10).
- Familiarity with Olympiad and scholarship exam patterns.
- Experience in reputed coaching institutes or schools is an advantage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
