Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and creative Project Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing detailed design drawings, layouts, and specifications for power generation facilities, electrical infrastructure, and renewable energy installations. This role requires strong technical skills, proficiency in design software, and a thorough understanding of engineering principles and industry standards.
Responsibilities:

Collaborate with project teams to develop design concepts, layouts, and specifications for power sector projects, including electrical substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy installations.

Prepare detailed design drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements and industry standards.

Conduct site visits and surveys to gather information and assess project requirements, working closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to incorporate design changes and modifications.

Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and standards, identifying potential issues or conflicts and proposing solutions to ensure design integrity and functionality.

Coordinate with external consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to obtain design inputs, materials, and technical support as needed.

Assist in the preparation of design documentation, including drawings, reports, and presentations, for internal review, client approval, and regulatory compliance.

Participate in design review meetings, providing input and feedback on design concepts, performance requirements, and technical feasibility.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in the power sector and renewable energy industry, incorporating innovative design solutions and methodologies into project designs.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.

Proven experience in project design, preferably within the power sector or renewable energy industry.

Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, Revit, or MicroStation.

Strong technical skills and knowledge of engineering principles, codes, and standards related to power generation, transmission, and distribution systems.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in design work, with the ability to produce high-quality drawings and specifications.

Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
